Tear in the Radio is an independent music zine created by Sofie Vasquez in the July of 2015. Beginning as a passion project to explore and document the underground music scene of the Tri-State area - Tear in the Radio has since expanded to cover musicians across the states and beyond.

 

Although close to its roots of supporting local artists, the zine has featured photos and interviews with established artists in the industry. As the creator and editor-in-chief, Sofie has allowed the zine to gradually grow from a passion to a full-time publication.
